If you like comedy, you'll love Kidney Komedy Night! Its an amazing showcase of comedic talent by headling comedians from Canada and beyond. And it happens only one night a year - so don't miss it!
An event of this size always has many things happening, and raises a lot of questions by those who are curious about the event or who are attending and want to make the most of the show.
So, here are of some of the most commonly asked questions about the show; activities at the event, things to expect, and a whole lot more!
There's a lot more than a comedy show here! Participate in as little - or as much as you want!
Door Prizes
Every show ticket to Kidney Komedy Night is numbered. At times during and after the show, we randomly draw ticket numbers, and the person who has that ticket number wins a prize! Free stuff!!!
Silent Auction
There are numerous items for "bidding" in our silent auction which can be perused before the show, during the intermission, or briefly after the show. Item values range from about $50 to over $1,000!
Ticket Raffle
A number of items are raffled off, the winner of each item is picked in a draw. Tickets are sold at $3 each, 2 for $5 or 5 for $10. It works like this: you take your tickets that you purchase, and drop them into the draw jar next to each item(s) you hope to win. Your chances of winning an item depends on how many tickets you drop into the jar! After the show, we randomly pull a ticket out of each jar. The owner of the ticket we draw wins the item!
"Heads or Tails" Draw
This is the most fun you will ever have trying to win an item - and the prizes are fantastic! There is one "heads or Tails" draw at the end of the first half of the show, and another at the end of the second half of the show. Tickets for the first "Heads or Tails" draw will be sold prior to and during the first half of the show; tickets for the second "Heads or Tails" draw will be sold during the intermission and during the last half of the show.
Kidney Komedy Night Swag
T-shirts and other Kidney Komedy Night "loot" is available for purchase throughout the event at the Kidney Komedy Night memorabilia table. There's more stuff every year!
Comic CD's & Paraphernalia
Did you enjoy the show? Well the comics have a section where you can purchase their cd's, dvd's, shirts and more! Why not take home the cd or dvd of your favorite comic from the show for a chuckle on another day? Maybe even have them autograph it for you!
There's tons of ways to have fun during and after the show! Come out, have fun and laugh harder than you have in years!
Rush seating means that patrons are seated on a first-come, first-seated basis. There are no reserved seating locations except for group bookings and for our VIP sponsors. Arrive early to get the best seats!
Unfortunately not. Not only are the tickets an amazing value for the size of the show you see, but the funds generated for the ticket sales comprise the bulk of the money we give to the endowment.

Yes. This is an adult-only show. You must be of legal drinking age in the province or territory of the show you wish to attend.
None. The organizers, the event volunteers and the comics all donate their time and energy to the event so that the most money possible goes to the endowment fund.
No, the showroom itself is non-smoking at all times. Smoking is permitted outdoors, or in designated smoking areas only.
Definitely! Groups are considered to be more than 4 people. All bookings and ticket purchases should be made a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the show if you want the group to be able to sit together! Otherwise there is little or no chance that you will all get seated at the same table or even in the same area of the venue.
For group bookings, it is best to have all the tickets pre-purchased by one individual, then have your full party meet shortly before the doors open - so everyone can get their ticket and you can all be seated as a group.
Group tickets can also be picked up at the Kidney Foundation Officeweeks ahead of the show, but all the tickets must be picked up by the person who's credit card was used for the purchase.
Feel free to contact us regarding more group booking information.
You can purchase tickets either in advance or at the door, but the only way to ensure you get tickets for the show is to buy them in advance! There are usually more than one location you can buy your tickets from in advance, or you can purchase tickets over the phone.

Absolutely! Servers will come by and take your orders on a regular basis through the entire night. You will require a credit card if you wish to start a tab, or just pay as you go.
Note: The show food menu is mostly appetizers. If you want a full upscale dinner, we suggest you dine before the show at the Mojave Grill located right in the building. You will even get a discount there when you present your Kidney Komedy Night tickets!
The show generally lasts approx.
2 1/2 to 3 hours, including a 30 minute intermission.
Chances are that there will be some use of profanity or adult material in the course of the event. We do not censor the show and the comics understand the spirit of the event.
Because of the level and quantity of the talent that is on stage at our show. You have to remember that these comics donate their time to this event. If we were to pay them for their time, plus the overhead of the event - you would be paying many times the price you pay for this show.
But, in the spirit of the event, we are able to bring you many amazingly talented comedians to one stage for one night - in honor of Kerry Talmage, a comedian widely known and respected in the comedy circuit.
Well, it's a long packed show - and you won't want to get up to go to the bathroom and miss something! As well, the intermission gives people the chance to bid at the silent auction, pick up souvenirs, buy raffle and draw tickets - or even sneak outside for a minute or two.
But don't be late coming back from the intermission! The show will start without you; and you never want the comedian on stage to notice you sneaking in... you may become part of the show!
You can purchase tickets either in advance or at the door, but the only way to ensure you get tickets for the show is to buy them in advance! There are usually more than one location you can buy your tickets from in advance, or you can purchase tickets over the phone.
